F#Fountain (2016)

Studio F Minus’ most recent project is titled F#Fountain. It is a floating, music-making sculpture made from common garden sprinklers and children’s instruments. F#fountain uses simple mechanisms to gently nudge streams of water into ringing handbells and glockenspiels. The musical composition it performs is written in real-time, procedurally generated by a custom program burned onto some electronics mounted on top of the fountain.

Set up in in/future, a transformative art experience, A Festival of Art & Music at Ontario Place.
